All information received regarding the client and family will be treated as strictly confidential. No information will be shared with others without your explicit written consent . Please note that in certain situations I may be obliged by law and professional rules to divulge confidential information.
The above stated is applicable to children under 18 years. The relationship between the psychologist, parent and client is deeply valued and should any concerns related to your child arise that you need to be made aware of, you will be informed as such. In turn, should you have any concerns related to your child, please communicate them with the psychologist as soon as possible. As a parent you will receive feedback on the process as required. As a rule no information regarding a therapy session will be discussed with you, without your child’s permission. I do reserve the right to inform you as parent if your child is guilty of any criminal behaviour, are being threatened in any way and of any possible dangerous behaviour.
I will not release a report to any other person without your permission.
