Payment for services rendered can occur in one of two manners:
Option 1: Claiming from your medical aid
Directly claiming from your medical aid can be facilitated:
- For assessments the charge is per hour at the medical aid tariff.
- For therapy sessions the amount of time spent in the session is claimed at the medical aid tariff.
- It remains your responsibility to ensure that your medical aid has enough funds available. If your medical aid does not pay for services rendered, for whatever reason, you remain responsible for the full payment of the services rendered.
Option 2: Private
The private payment option is available for clients who do not have medical aid cover. Payment is done directly to the psychologist on the date of services rendered (including assessment and therapy sessions). The psychologist will inform you of the tariffs. You will receive a statement indicating that you have paid for the services rendered.
Payment can be done either cash or by EFT.
